Great tasting coffee that doesnt hurt the planet

Unlike other coffee roasters, our supplier takes proactive steps to capture, reduce, and offset the emissions from the coffee production and roasting processes, striving to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Traditional drum roasters typically generate 80% of the total carbon emissions across the entire supply chain for each kilogram of coffee sold.

To illustrate, 1 tonne of drum roasted coffee results in nearly 3 tonnes of carbon emissions from farm to cup.

In contrast, using a modern convection roaster allows us to capture emissions during the roasting process, significantly impacting the entire supply chain. This approach alone prevents hundreds of tonnes of emissions from entering the atmosphere each year.

Recycled Packaging

Our coffee is delivered in recyclable bags and sustainable outer boxes for all shipments.
Recycle used coffee grounds and use in your garden

We repackage all used coffee grounds in the original recycled coffee bags and offer these to green fingered customers for free. Coffee grounds adds valuable nitrogen to the compost, which helps to break down other organic matter and create a nutrient-rich soil amendment.

Smart Energy

We run on green power generation, use auto off led lighting, landfill less than 1% of our waste and constantly analyse our workflow to make sure we are doing all that is practical to keep our impact low.

Locally Sourced

We actively source more than 75% of our ingredients locally within a 60 mile radius of our restaurant and all meat is high welfare.

Sourced from the UK

We select products that can be grown in the UK where possible, but on some occasions you just can't get coconuts to grow in Moseley.

Recycle, recycle

We recycle our used coffee grounds for customers to use as an additive to compost, we recycle all our cooking oils and use recycled takeaway packaging and cups made from recycled materials and fully recyclable themselves.
