We're very connected and easy to get to

Merlin’s is conveniently located in the heart of Birmingham, with easy access to all three major train stations—New Street, Moor Street, and Snow Hill. We’re also just a few meters from key bus and tram stops, making us easily reachable from anywhere in the city.

Playing at Merlin's?

It's easy to load in and out when playing at Merlin's

If your a band or a service provider and your are looking for directions for loading in and out of our venue, you will find it very easy.

Using your GPS navigation, navigate to:

Clayton Hotel, Albert St, Birmingham B5 5JE and approach this from Mass House Lane.

On approach, the Clayton Hotel will be on your left side and you will arrive at a set of traffic lights at the cross roads. Turn LEFT here and pass along the side of the Clayton Hotel.

You will arrive at another set of traffic lights, go straight over these lights towards Moor Street Train Station.

On approach to another set of traffic lights get in the right hand lane, and BEFORE you pass in front of Moor Street Station there is a right turn. Take the right turn and drive into Carrs Lane, you will pass a Tesco store and Boots will be at the top of the road.

Follow the road round until you approach another set of traffic lights.

Martineau Loading Bay is located on the left BEFORE you pass through these lights.

Approach the white barrier/gate and use the intercom to tell security you are here to visit Merlin's Cafe Bar.

Use loading bay number 4 and lift number 2 to access the venue.
